If you are looking for an authentic English experience, visit one of the many pubs and restaurants located within Windermere. Just make sure to go during the less busy hours because they sure are a tourist hot spot – where visitors come in droves.
At night, you can sample the ales and local brews of the beers which you can buy from the English pubs in Windermere. If you have your family with you, look for a pub which serves food and sample hearty English meals that will satisfy even the most sensitive palate.
With all of these things which can be added to your to-do-list while in Windermere – there is no doubt that your stay in this part of Cumbria will truly be a memorable one.
