You can set up camp in the forest or you can schedule a day hiking trip on its winding trails and hills. Don’t forget though to bring a night torch lamp if ever you plan to stay outdoors at night. Satterthwaite is a remote hamlet and streetlights are not very common.
You can also schedule your team building activities at Satterthwaite. The township can accommodate big groups of vacationers. Satterthwaite has several lodging houses and manor-hotels that can be used for this purpose.

You have to bring along extra petrol for your vehicle if you plan to stay at Satterthwaite. The nearest gas station is 10 miles away from the town center.
You should also bring along insect repellant creams. This is to ward off the forest midges if you plan to take a hike in the forest or set up camp outdoors.
