Welcome to our luxury self-catering holiday lodges, located at Hillcroft Park a small, friendly site just a ten minute walk from the village of Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. Our Lakeland holiday lodges are an ideal base for exploring the northern lakes.

Pooley Bridge lies at the northern end of Ullswater in England’s largest national park, the Lake District. This beautiful village is popular with visitors as it has a few shops and pubs and is easily accessible by car from the M6. You can hop on the Ullswater Steamer to Glenridding or Howtown for a car-free day or just to Howtown and walk back through the fells.

Ullswater being located in the Lake District national park provides the ideal place for holiday destinations; it sits among the finest fells in Lakeland. The lake is the second largest in England and offers a huge range of water sport activities including sailing, canoeing, fishing and more. Whilst the surrounding fells are set out at your doorstep to enjoy at your leisure on foot or by bike, whichever is your mode of transport, there are plenty of opportunities to explore.

Pooley Lodges are set on Hillcroft Park which is beautifully landscaped with stunning views over Ullswater and the surrounding fells. The park has a shop, launderette, children’s play park, and Wi-Fi is available. Our holiday lodges are equipped to a high standard, and being well insulated they are warm and cosy even in mid-winter. The vaulted ceilings throughout give a feeling of space.
