Just like the famous Rose parade in the United States, this Lake District festival features colorful horticulture displays and marvelous floral art works. - The Lake District Summer Music Festival which is held every August. Here, the younger generation can get their fill of the most popular music which hits the UK airwaves. There are plenty of other Lake District festivals that you can participate in year-round. There's the Coniston Water Festival, the Maryport Blues Festival, the Windermere Air Show, the Barrow's Annual Festival of the Sea, the Tebay Elephant Festival and a lot more!
