Ings

It would be better to know so much remarkable things about Ings because Ings has so many things to offer. From cottages for your holiday getaways, self-serving cottages, pubs, bars, bed and breakfasts and hostels to major attractions like the Lake Windermere and the whole of Cumbria as well.

To have your glimpse of Ings, Ings is considered as a tiny settlement that is located between Kendal and Windermere. To be more specific it is on the A591 or the so called the focal point of the Lake District National Park. The tiny hamlet known as Ings is not remote to other villages like Kendal. In fact Ings is just a walk away from Windermere.

You will develop a great attachment to Ings as you traverse and explore its field from north to south. This experience will make you realize how on this earth exists such simple yet breathtaking place. If you want a little more adventurous journey you can go fishing in the Lake Windermere and other body of waters bordering the hamlet and even go beyond the countryside.

Ings is very much popular because of its stone cottages which have been built in time-honored Cumbrian style and architecture. At the center of Ings lies the magnificent chuch named St. Anne’s and defined as a Georgian church. St. Anne’s was built in the mid of 18th century and it was funded by a merchant named Robert Bateman. The church itself has a lot to offer about the culture and history of Ings. Ings in all strict sense of the word is a beauty created to be explored and appreciated.
