Yet another town in the Lake District of the United Kingdom is Kendal. Known as a market town it’s in the Cumbria district of the Lake District. The production of snuff tobacco began way back in 1792, when the art of manufacturing it was brought back from Scotland by Thomas Harrison. Eventually his products include not only snuff but pipe tobacco.
