Blancogo

Blencogo is a small farming village that is located on the Solway plain. On a clear day you will see winter barley or grazing cows as you turn left off the road from Wigton to Silloth and climb a small hill that goes through tattie fields. In the community park you will find hawthorn, silver birch, elder, horse chestnut and willow trees. Such beauty of natures lies within the village of Blencogo, there for every visitor and resident to enjoy. Choose accommodations that fit in with the period in which you are interested and you will have an even more pleasurable trip. You also want to choose ethnic foods rather than those from your home country in order to obtain the real taste of the village.

How you spend your time in Blencogo is up to you, but you certainly want to take time to enjoy the scenery, especially the many trees that are home in this small village national park. Whether you choose to participate in the current activities of the village or wish to wander off on your own, you can be sure you will have a good time.
