21 The Lakes is a new luxury boutique hotel ideally situated between Windermere and Bowness, in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District in Cumbria. From the hotel guests have only a short stroll through the village of Bowness with its variety of quality shops, wine bars, a cinema and traditional country inns to Bowness Bay and Lake Windermere.

This Lake District Hotel was originally a wealthy Edwardian gentleman's second home and has many attractive period features. The hotel has been recently completely redesigned and refurbished to become one of the Lake District's leading contemporary boutique hotels.

From the short period of being opened we have enjoyed the company of a number of celebrities, and have had a high number of repeat booking and recommendations.

The luxury hotel has designer, contemporary and traditional styled suites, some with out-door hot tubs, and mini-suites, relaxing lounge areas with large windscreen TVs, with satellite channels, DVDs, CDs, various styled quality king-size beds, luxury bathrooms with large aqua spa massage bath for two people, power showers and saunas.

The premises and all rooms are non smoking.
